Back testing is something you can do to verify the strategy you're using is profitable, reliable.

This works by running the platform through historical market data in sequence with when the group posted a Signal, and then the following outcome of it, profit or loss.

You can configure many variables in Cornix.

We recommend, unless you are a very experienced trader, to use the group settings for your automated trades.

You will notice after running a few back tests:

During periods of uncertainty, when the market is going sideways, or is very volatile, Signals will not be profitable on a daily basis due to trades reaching their stop loss. This is perfectly normal.

What you can VERIFY, is that RNMKR becomes profitable on a MONTHLY basis, by back testing whatever date-ranges you are interested in analysing.
